Sunday the 1st and Prayer

Hello class,

We will spend a part of our class time this Sunday planning for our 11:00 children's Sunday School. We will discuss teachers, curriculum, structure, etc. Please call (343-5675) or email me if you have input but will not be in church Sunday. When we are done we will continue our study of Exodus starting with chapter 8 verse 20.


ANNOUNCEMENTS

The trip to Jefferson City went well. The Morrows spent $333.16 on supplies. If you'd like to contribute, please give Matt or Rachael as much as you feel led.

Classes for "A Radically Normal Christian Life" begin Wednesday, August
4 at 6:00 p.m. in room 210A. Please inform the preschool office if you need childcare.

PRAYER
Please pray this week as we prepare to make a mission statement and pull from scripture our goals for teaching our children during the 11 o'clock hour.  We also are praying for the Lord to use this to reach other families and grow our class.

Missionaries Bill and Vicky Scott are traveling to the states Monday and Tuesday and will be crossing the Mexican border. Please pray for Gods protection and  safety as they travel to Missouri.

Shane's neighbor, Ron, passed away.  Please pray for comfort for his family for their loss and that the settling of the estate goes smoothly because there has been serious family tension in the past.

Heather is praising the Lord that her grandma had a great time at her birthday party!

Andrea's nephew, Connor, may be having silent seizures and is being evaluated.  Please pray for God's healing for this little boy.

Mendie is heading up the Sparks (K-2) program this year for Wednesday night AWANAs.  Please pray for Mendie as she seeks God's will to make the time meaningful for the students and that the workers would be sensitive to the Holy Spirit because this is typically a time when many children make decisions to become Christians during this developmental stage of life.

We also thank the Lord that the Jefferson City mission trip went well!

Jackson Booth prayed to accept Christ as his Savior and Lord Sunday evening.  We praise the Lord for his decision.
